COOL MARRAKECH

COOL MARRAKECH
“COOL MARRAKECH”

Dar Bab Marrakech is a paradise in an otherwise hectic city. The staff is incredibly friendly and will assist you with everything you need to get around. We instantly fell in love with Soukina, who seems to run the show. Her kindness is just the beginning of what you can expect of the rest of the staff. The rooms are comfortable and elegantly decorated with that Moroccan charm. The food she prepares is authentic and absolutely delicious. I am a foodie so I know good food and the meals we had at the riad were REALLY GOOD!!! I asked for the recipe for a dish and the staff happily gave me step by step instructions. This is something that never happens as most cooks never want their recipes to leave their kitchens. Dar Bab Marrakech is also one of the few places a tourist can find a cocktail on a Friday. This is going to be important to any non-Muslim travelers who are use to a little wine with dinner. We loved our stay here so much that, when we returned to the city, we came right back to this riad. By far our greatest accommodations out of the 6 cities we traveled to in Morocco

RIADS MARRAKECH_DAR NAJAT

RIADS MARRAKECH_DAR NAJAT
As soon as we arrived, we were made to feel extremely welcome. The staff at the hotel were very friendly and warm and made us a delicious salad served with a couple of beers straight-away. The rooms are petite and bijou and are perfectly comfortable for a short stay in Marrakech. The following day I met Oliver, who is the owner and with whom I had spoken to, before we flew out, and he was just as anxious to please and make you feel at home as he had been on the phone. Within a few minutes he had recommended a list of places and things for us to do, so it made a nonsense of actually taking a "Marrakech guide book" with us. We spent a delightful few days here and would recommend it. The place is bohemian and basic and the food is excellent. My only drawback would be that if you want to have a lie in after a heavy night...it can get quite noisy...the sound seems to travel in those Riads !!

MARRAKECH TRIPADVISOR BEST RIADS

MARRAKECH TRIPADVISOR BEST RIADS

“Our wonderful experience of Riad Dar Najat”
We stayed for three nights with our children aged 8,10 and 12 at this wonderful Riad. We were provided with transport to and from the airport, a welcome drink and mint tea whenever we returned to the Riad from a day about town. The hospitality was superb with friendly staff who all had a great sense of humour, teasing and joking with the children. The staff organised tables for dinner for us and We requested advice about a tour of the souks and a day trip with a driver and a guide to the mountains. Both of these requests were organised at a fair price by Oliver and the guides were friendly and informative. The day trip to the mountains, stopping at a Berber market and enjoying a two hour hike to some waterfalls was well worth the trip. We enjoyed the Riad's tortoise named Harry Potter and even provided him with another tortoise friend before we left called Dennis. We would recommend this Riad highly and we plan to return before too long!

MARRAKECH COOLEST RIADS COOLEST PLACE In May I went to Marrakech for a few days, and I loved so much the city that I decided to come back in October to have a break in order to run away from the first cold of Europe. And this time, I booked in another Riad: DAR NAJAT. It was magical, fairy and everything was perfect. I had the chance to be invited to visit all the rooms: all fantastic, with their own "cachet", the ones better than the others! Incredible...Every detail has its importance and is located at its right place. Moreover the staff and Olivier the owner are so warm and helpfull, organizing and coordinating for you the visits, dealing for you the day trip-tours, booking restaurant and spa...the dream team I tell you! Dar najat is a jewel-case in the middle of the Medina in which you are the diamond.

MARRAKECH RIAD_DAR NAJAT

MARRAKECH RIAD_DAR NAJAT

Last weekend I have paid visit to both Riads that belong to same group. I was impressed with decoration, Dar Najat has 7 rooms and Bab Marrakesh is just recently opened, with 4 rooms. Both have very beautiful interior done with taste and artistic details from African continent. Bab Marrakesh has wonderful terrace bar cafe for it's guests and is more private, hence it is also smaller than the other one. Both are located 5 minutes walking distance from the Jemma El Fna square and count with wonderful and very attentive staff. They are not fitted with elevators, and the whole stay in Riad like this would be more like a house stay, a very relaxing holidays at relaxing and secluded Riad and not hotel. It is also very suited for younger couples or single travellers who want to experience something different. In simple words, both Riads are very original and Oliver the owner a wonderful host.

"TOP RIADS MARRAKECH" love Sharon Jones - This Land Is Our Land

We arrived at Dar Bab Marrakech at short notice after changing our travel plans and were given an exceptionally warm welcome by the ownerOlivier. This Riad is nothing short of beautiful. It is simple, clean, homely, full of character and charm - the perfect haven in the heart of Marrakesh and an antidote to the hustle and bustle of the city.

Set off of the main road, on a narrow street,
Once inside, it is impossible to not feel relaxed. The decor is understated and stylish - it is a welcoming combination that makes you feel immediately at home.

Our room was simple but stunning - there is real thought and care in the details. The colour scheme was sumptuous, the furniture beautifully hand carved, the pillows and bedding were incredibly cosy, there are robes hanging in the bathroom, and the rooms are cleaned and made impeccably each day. The team working in the Riad are very attentive and eager to please - on the first day, after checking in, we showered and went out to explore and returned early evening to fresh towels in our bathroom. A small touch that said an awful lot about how much they wanted to make our stay a real treat.

Breakfast is served on the roof terrace - whilst the weather was brilliantly warm for our stay, this was a lovely way to start the day, and I can only imagine how wonderful this space must be when the sun really comes out.

Each evening, the Riad is lit with carefully selected lamps, lanterns and candles - it's a very beautiful sight and an absolute pleasure to return to.

Dar bab marrakech is well located a short walk to the main square and souks, but with a number of good restaurants and cafes very close by.

I would very happily and highly recommend this Riad to friends and family and look forward to making a return visit in the future.

"best guest house marrakech"

"best guest house marrakech"Riad Dar Najat outranged my highest expectations! The amazing staff made everything for us to feel like at home - accompanying us to wherever we want, offering us a mobile phone with a local nr to call them at any time, giving us advices and assisting us while shopping, just to be sure for us not to be trapped and to pay too much. An outstanding breakfast, yummy tea at any time and excellent cleaning service in a wonderful place, perfect to relax, not to mention the closeness to jemna el fna and the souk and spice market - what do you wish more?
